Sex Worker And Cross-Party Support For Bill

A joint press conference of cross-party MPs (Greens, Labor, and Liberal) and representatives of sex worker organisations – SIN (Kat Morrison, General Manager) and Scarlet Alliance (Jules Kim, CEO) – will be held in the Old Parliament foyer at 11.30am today. This is in contrast to the non-sex worker voices that were heard on the steps of Parliament on Monday. Sex worker organisations support decriminalisation and support the Bill being voted on in Parliament tonight. The Bill is expected to have strong support in the chamber as well.
