The Hon. T.A. FRANKS: Supplementary: how does it happen that the state government allows for the defence minister to be advertised as appearing at a conference when he is not going to be there and is actually in another country?
The Hon. K.J. MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector): I thank the honourable member for her question. The MAST conference, I don't think—but I will check—was a government-organised conference. If it's a private conference those questions would probably be better directed to the organisers of that conference.
